This ramen is delicious. Full of Umami flavor. It is highly recommended. Note: wait times are long. I went on Saturday starting at 7 pm, and didn't get seated until 8 pm.

The most insane ramen you can find! Flavors are wonderful and the experience is chic. Definitely worth waiting in the line.

Food- Great! Ambience- A little crowded. Service- Great! Wait time- a little too much. Ramen- Best yet in the city! One of the few places in the city with great chicken and veg ramen options!

came here because of its fame. We arrived at around 6:15 and waited about 25-30 min, not too bad. The minimum is to order 1 bowl per person. The line moves fast. The waitress was very friendly. The noodles are on the salty side. We ordered wagyu tantan noodle and chicken broth ramen. I definitely recommend the chicken one more time :) we got them both spicy, but it is mild. The environment is packed but not over crowded :)

Finally!, I got to eat Mensho ramen. I ordered the Signature Toripaiton ramen. The soup, the flavorful is well-balanced (not too salty). I liked the most was the Ajitama egg, which I have eaten at many restaurants that have an overly strong shoyu taste. It’s different at Menshu ramen makes a very good Ajitama, there is no shoyu smell and the egg is perfectly soft-boiled inside. As for the ramen noodles, they were chewy and just right. There chashu pork was tender and it’s practically melted in my mouth.

There is a reason there's always a line outside...the ramen is phenomenal! Quick and attentive service, but it's a very small space and they leave the door open even when it's rainy and cold out. Definitely bring a jacket if it's chilly out. Good selection of imported beers and other drinks as well. Definitely recommend for any foodie.

No line when we arrived right after 5 pm opening time on a Thursday. But we're full within 30 minutes. Quick turnover of tables because food comes out fast. We ordered the signature ramen and the soup less noodles. Being a very hot day, we liked the soup less better. Not only because of the temperature,,but because of the complex unexpected flavors. The frothy ramen soup was amazing and don't get me started on the eggs! We should have had the enoki appetizer but we're too full Food was amazing, liked the airy and plenty industrial decor. Cramped with plexiglass dividers so not super great hello post pandemic world .

Highly recommended. This is a must-try if you want to experience and enjoy all the ramen SF offers, especially for vegetarians. To me, the ramen is full of rich Umami flavor. The service is quick and efficient. The seating is very tight, not a lot of personal space. Everyone sits close together on basically two long tables + bar seating + 1 square table, separated by plastic screens. Expect to have your personal space violated by being touched by others moving around in the aisle while going to the restroom or by entering/leaving. Only 1 bathroom, and wait times can be long. Note: expect long wait times. Waited in line at 7 pm on a Saturday, and didn't get seated until 8 pm.

BEST RAMEN IN SF!!!! It is 10000% worth the wait and the hype. The ramen is just mouth watering. There is a line pretty much all the time, but it moves quickly as you only have exactly 1 hour to dine. We waited about 20 minutes? It's located in the tenderloin, but it wasn't a bad street so you feel safe waiting in life. The space is really small, but such an amazing place.

Very good ramen, some of the best we've had outside of Japan. The broth is the star here, we had the toripaitan and veggie soups and both were outstanding. Toripaitan was very rich, creamy and amazing flavors, just a tad sweet. The veggie was thinner and lighter, a bit more savory, but also very good. We were mixed on the noodles, as we prefer thinner style noodles, whereas Mensho's are thicker and heavier, almost verging on udon noodles in texture. They do make for a hearty filling bowl however and would recommend requesting them to be cooked al dente. Limited sides, had the unique fried corn "wings" and mushroom karaage (not to be mistaken for chicken). Fried enoki mushrooms were also very good. Given the small space and 4 long communal tables, they do a good job with movable glass dividers depending on party size to give some privacy. You do have to put up with a line outside to get in. We arrived around 7pm, approx 40 min wait (Sunday evening), so decided to do something else and came back around 9pm and still had to wait in line for 15 min. I was a bit put off by the line, seeminly no matter what time we got there, but in the end, the food was worth it.
